Assemble Watches
About Us
Assemble Watches is a tool built for people who want to mod their watch, not just think about it.
Watch modding sounds difficult, niche, and faintly risky. The reality is that most Seiko mods are genuinely approachable. A strap swap takes ten minutes, a bezel insert takes fifteen, and even a full dial and hand build is manageable at home with the right guidance. The barrier isn't skill. It's information.
That's the gap we're trying to close. Assemble Watches exists to make the planning side of a build faster and less frustrating: a place to browse parts, check compatibility, and see how combinations look before anything gets ordered or taken apart.
What we've built
The build page is the core of the site. Pick a case, dial, hands, bezel, and strap from a browsable library of parts, see them together in real time, and get compatibility flagged as you go.
For anyone starting from scratch, the beginners guide walks through the full picture: which base watch to start with, what each mod involves, what tools you need, and what mistakes are worth avoiding. No assumed knowledge.
If you're new and have questions (what tools you actually need, what parts are compatible, what the NH35 is), the FAQ covers the most common ones in one place. There's also a glossary for any terminology that doesn't make sense on first read.
Our approach
We're not trying to sell you a specific aesthetic or push you toward particular parts. The point is to make your build easier to plan, whatever direction you're going in. If you end up with an easier build or fewer wasted orders, then I'm happy.
